I recently did a kayak trip with a friend who is a kayak fishing guide here in North Texas. I did these pictures up for him just messing around and he loves them. Im happy that he loves them, but I know they could be a little better. What do you think? How could I make the photos more appealing and what should I do with the letters? Thanks!

Too much shadows on the subject. With fill flash you can easily take care of that problem and it also gives more "POP" on him.
#2 it would be nice to see his eyes
#3 is tad too tight crop for my taste
#4 would be brilliant with tad of fill

Second and third, without the glaring empty white sky.
They're not personal because you don't get the face but they're cool.

Yeah I should have used the fill flash. That was the first thing I noticed when I DL the pics. #3 Was a pretty tight crop, you think I should leave more cliff face/fishing poles in there?

Thanks TMCMAN!

IMO looser crop would benefit the image. Just a tad on right and bit more on top of the image
