Shot this today. Think it's a heron of some sort?

Nice shots!

This bird is a bully with abusive territorial behaviour molesting the finches in my backyard; yesterday afternoon, working in my backyard one of this birds start screaming and flying closer. I was thinking about Alfred Hitchcock movie "The Birds".:)

Peter, you can tell the great egret from the snowy egret easily: the great white has a yellow bill and black feet; the smaller snowy has a black bill and yellow feet!
