^^Oh I see. Thanks for the sample. Basically, ring flash adapters are mostly good for fill and not as a main source of light. Good to know.

I was gonna consider buying the Orbis ring flash though, do you think that has the same light output compared to your Ray flash adapter? My purpose is that I'll be using it as my main source of light. Mostly shot in dark locations where ambient light is not really that great.

The Orbis is a better device but not convenient to use. It works best with tight shots and fairly short lenses.

Larger ring flashes have far more power and the ring itself is bigger, which gives you more flexibility and lets you create those classic ring flash shadows and catch lights.

The smaller adapters just can't cut it and I feel they're great when used as fill or as a main light source but not one where you're counting on overpowering ambient.
