From live shootouts to extraordinary acts of courage, I have been filming for three years on issues of violence and recovery. With all of the political talk about improvement, it is my hope that the images and humanization of the issue can bring about effectiveness and positive change.

Please see the above sample. I welcome your thoughts and deeply appreciate much of the conversation on these boards. It is a wonderful honor to preserve time.

I am not sure if this is posted in the right section, but I hope anyone who does come across this post takes a few minutes to watch your preview.

I will be quite honest in saying that your video was one of the best pieces of media I have seen in recent history - extremely well shot technically, and the message was conveyed powerfully and effectively.

Might I ask the reasoning for this project? Just from the short preview, it looks very professionally done and I would put it on par if not better than many box-office documentaries released in recent years.

It is quite obvious that you have a great talent in conveying emotion and advocating change through film, I am looking forward to the full release!

In a word, excellence.

A powerful message; one that I hope reaches as many Americans as possible. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Bravo. Well done.

It's a shame the story needs to be told, but you're doing a good job of it.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I cannot tell you how inspiring your comments are. The film will be complete in 4 months. My fear is that watching how completely ignorable the issue is, why would a film on that issue not be ignorable as well?

WIth that, that trailer was never intended to be released. I have done so to pool a mass of engaged individuals together who, regardless of political ideology, seek improvement and competency through action.

Please feel free to share the link on Facebook, etc. Proliferate it as much as possible. This is not a promotional initiative and I do not hope to recoup the investment in the film - rather, to see that the film advances those which deserve opportunity and to honor the individuals who have participated - some whose last breaths I have filmed.

In either case, thank you so much again. I am leaving a link to the FB page, which has additional imagery.

That's was incredible!

On a personal note:
I'm a Juvenile Probation Officer and I see this violence ALL the time! This pattern is hard to break because regardless of the community efforts, everything starts at home with the immediate family. People make their own choices, on the ground level we can try to plant the seed thought and hopefully it will blossom into something incredible.

Once this is project is released I will definitely purchase a copy and develope a lesson for the minors I work with. Violence is very sensationalized, anything that can bring the reality back to the issue is definitely needed.

On a creative note:
Very well edited, great transitions, excellent use of timing and audio. I dream that I will be able to make some half as nice as this.

This is well worth looking at if you haven't already. This is the way reporting should be - not that sterile crap that passes for news.

This preview was incredible! It the power and message really hit me, because I live in Connecticut about 35 minutes from Hartford and know how bad some of these areas are up there and in Bridgeport.

I will definitely try to attend the first screening.
