Thank you all again very much. Your comments are hopeful and meaningful.

Unfortunately, it will take more than a film to provide aid to the issue. Please message me if you are interested in getting involved. There is absolutely NO financial ask whatsoever. We need artists and individuals in every state of the union connecting with those seeking improvement. The smallest amount of energy spent online can make a huge difference. This is not an advertisement. There is also no fiscal gain to engage in this activity...only to honor those trusting enough to participate within film and to hold organizations charged with improvement, accountable for the funds they spend. I would want that if it were my child. Thank you again so much.

We can improve.

Great video. This type of violence is a result of a culture of people who value possessions more than people and fatherless households with no discipline which stretches across all races, backgrounds and economic backgrounds. Among other reasons of course. I used to live not far from that area, however way before our culture shifted to a self centered, no work ethic, i-want-it-now-at-any-cost, screw-the-consequences mentality.

I look forward to seeing more and hope the video content really does document and not push a certain agenda or political view or political ideology. The video is done well, it should get more views. I deal with these issues also and would use a video like this depending on how it is in totality.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I cannot tell you how inspiring your comments are. The film will be complete in 4 months. My fear is that watching how completely ignorable the issue is, why would a film on that issue not be ignorable as well?

My opinion, and nothing more on this statement:

I think the issue is ignorable because we as a people are desensitized to it. Unfortunately, now more than ever, people don't care about their fellow man. We hear about these things and because they don't directly effect we ignore it and go on with our lives. It doesn't become an issue until it's front and center in our own lives, unfortunately. Of course, I speak of "us" as a the human race in general. Some people do care, and you're one of them obviously.

The reason this isn't ignorable is because it doesn't allow you to ignore it. That was a powerful and emotional four minutes that demanded to be watched. The way it's put together, the music, the captured emotion...it's a beautiful piece about something terrible. That get's peoples attention and doesn't let go.

I'll be following this and sharing it.

Looks like a great film. The problem is that the people with the ability to make the necessary changes probably won't see it.

I see this all the time. Last night a 15 year old was murdered and another teenager shot at a party where I work as a police officer.

There are churches everywhere in my district with community action groups in every church. Each of them get money from the city to run some version of outreach to stop the violence. It has been going on for years and we keep throwing money at the problem. Values are learned at a very young age from the environment these kids are in. Until that environment changes, it's only going to get worse.

Good luck with your film, looks like a great project!

I'm passing this around to people I know, because I feel more of our communities need to see it. You're doing a good thing. Looking forward to the complete film.

Thank you for sharing!
