Received this email today from Phottix:

High Speed Sync with the Phottix Odin TTL Trigger
Team Phottix is at the Beijing P&E Photography Show, China’s premiere photography exhibition. Phottix’s soon-to-be-released TTL flash trigger – the Phottix Odin – is wowing the people visiting the team.
The above photo was taken of the lovely Phottix models – with a Canon 580 EXII flash into a gridded strip box, at 1/2500 second, EV +2.
When wlll the Phottix Odin be available? All we can say is: Soon. As there is trememdous interest in this product we want it to be perfect out of the box. Good things are worth waiting for.

Yes, I plan to be an early adopter.

Yes, keep checking back with each incremental development, no
matter how minor.

hope will be better than pixel knight. But if later on it matches the pocketwizard performance, then I bet the pocketwizard sales would get hit badly..

Are these suppose to be the Odins or are they going to be a completely different model?

Those look to be different. The max sync speed is only 1/250 and does not transmit TTL, only does TTL pass through.

Those look like the real thing, but I'm not paying that much for them.

Same here. I already own PW flex x2 and a mini ttl trigger, if these were substantially cheaper i'd sell my PW's to gain the AC3 ability (and remote flash zoom) and make a profit. If they're close in price why would anyone buy them over PW...
