I'm considering purchasing either 2 Pocket Wizard Plus II's, or a TT1 and TT5. I use 5D2 and own a 580 II and 430. So I guess my question would be which would be the better way to go?

Thank you for the information. I do want to maintain TTL, so that may limit my choices.
