Wow! I just saw that Paul C Buff of Alien Bee fame has been kicked off of the Fred Miranda forums....permanently.

See end of thread thread here: http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/997317/4 (external link)

Personally I love the guy. He knows his stuff and contributed a lot of knowledge to that forum.

Please proceed, Governor.

I can't help but wonder if the misspelling of his name was purposeful... probably not, but still.

Yes, and he called one guy dumb (he WAS being kinda dumb). There is a reason I'm a member here and have never signed up with FM.

There's a thread in the lounge about that. If people are called dumb when they are and the only reaction is to ban people who speak the truth then that's just sad. If he was acting poorly then so what, it's just the internet. If he was just speaking the truth and got banned for it, then that just speaks volumes about the people who go there.

I read the whole thread, and still need someone to explain what just happened. On any other forum, I'd expect that Todd guy to get the boot.

I think Paul got banned for calling out Fred and the other admins/mods for not controlling the vitriol on the site. Kinda sad.

Other forums are a bit like Vegas, what happens there stays there.
