I recently decided to have a try at macro and I am hooked. I usually take not very good landscapes, now I moved to take not very good macros. I love looking at the small world and think this will distract me nicely on the grey days when there is no sunset or sunrise. Got to get my photography fix one way or the other.
These are all natural light, with either the Canon 7D or 5D Mark II using the 70-200mm F2.8. It was a lesson to me that suddenly I am not after a shallow DOF. First four shots use a set of £8 macro tubes.
I am considering the 100mm F.28 L instead of upgrading my Sigma 17-35mm - decisions, decisions.
The Tulip is my first focus stack - hand held in natural light.
