Megan is a sweet girl, very shy and insecure so she was a bit of a challenge and she never really did relax....but I think her shots came out pretty good.

I used a mix of flash and ambient, and some guitars for props came in handy.

You should add "very pretty" in with insecure and shy. I love the first shot, you captured her very nicely.

You did a really terrific job on these for her! If she is shy and insecure, the negative manifestations of those qualities didn't show in the pics, only the positive ones. You got her maintaining eye contact with the camera, and that is really hard to do with a shy person. She is a beautiful girl, you totally nailed it.

Yes I had to do much more coaching than normal mostly just self esteem...by the end of the shoot she was believing it a little bit more.
