My first attempt at shooting HDR -
shot with 2 stop increments on the 7D
any suggestions on what I could do to make it better?

Really depends on what you're trying to achieve. Are you going for the over-the-top look?

I like to use HDR lightly, with the goal being its use is not noticeable (i.e. bringing detail to blown or blocked up areas without making them look obviously fake).

Other than that, I feel like I'm going to tip over to my right; you might try rotating to the left just a touch. ;)
