Gallery of highlights anyone?

Looking at these shots (100% crops, but that doesn't really matter much in this context), I am so pleased with the detail in the highlights, something I don't always find easy to get, that I thought it would be nice to see a gallery of shots that have such highlight detail...(with some technical explanations?)

...and that this forum of post-processing might a nice place to put it...

I suppose someone could also start a gallery of shadow detail, or a gallery of shots with great dynamic range....
...just a thought...and if you agree that it might be a nice gallery, please add your shots...(if you don't and don't want to, well, that's okay too)

anyway, here's the shot I got last week

ISO 400 @ 1/1000 @ F8
DPP-RAW/brightness, contrast, highlights reduced a bit
PS6-midrange levels and shadow output levels reduced a bit by 10
USM applied 300/.3/0

I notice that you have posted once in our RAW Conversion Thread so I figure you have some familiarity with the thread and what we are doing there, and the subjects of highlight detail as well as shadow detail are big with us! Drop in and post a project! Get active there!

Oh, and today is the second birthday of that thread! It keeps on ticking!
