Apr 24, 2011 19:35 | #4 I mostly shot Sigma 10-20mm and Canon 100L, but depends what you'll be doing. You can be on the beach, on Haleakala volcano, or in rain forest all in one day.

Those two and a fast 50 (any of them) would cover you well. You will need the fast 50 to shoot night fire shows. I would definitely bring the tripod as well. You don't want to miss the sunrise and sunsets. Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III | 17-40mm f/4.0L | 70-200mm f/2.8L USM | 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro | 300mm f/4.0L IS

Um...maybe you should bring the canon 10-22 in lieu of your sigma. I prefer not to have the flare as part of my photo's. 7D | Canon EF-S 17-55 2.8 | Sigma EF-S 30 1.4 | Canon 85 1.8 | Canon 135 2.0 L | 430EX | TT Speed Demon | Sony RX100
