When it comes to flying objects, what can be more Pristine than Air Force One.
Taken earlier today as President leaving LA for Las Vegas.
A rather unusual and rarely seen view.

TPBM is dull

Now that we are on heavenly theme, lets continue.

Venus. Though she is a Goddess, her back is surly dull, specially when Transiting sun. Of course if not believing me you can wait another 105 years and see it for yourself.

OK for all those non-believers and then my so so record:o ; Plane B: A jet tracing when transiting the transiting Venus over sun is beyond the reasonable doubt, DULL...;)
I hope this one goes with no objections:)

TPBM is: Another celestial subject.

Wow Samsen, talk about perfect timing.Outstanding picture for sure.

Anyway though there are many in this picture, it is one celestial object.

TPBM has one object standing out among many.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Here is answer to your prayers Sir;

Vatican. A museum or a place of worship. This should surely keep the place as most prominent unconventional or totally conventional place of worship, depending on how you look at it.

I love the image for many reasons such as because of human element contrast to place and specially presence of my lucky young newly married Sikh Canadian Indian friends. This is one attempt to stitch into panorama, at my earlier days before knowing the easier ways around, so I used PS and skewed the images manually to fit one another. Torturous but pleasant.

TPBM is: Tradition!

Thanks GJL711. As they say, Best things in life comes free and surely moment was just my luck and rapid reflexes. The other photographer next to me lost this opportunity though I shout and told him about plane.

Gail: No not really. But I was in doubt when you called these birds Cranes with unusual formation.

IMAGE: http://macymae.smugmug.com/Animals/Ducks-Cormorants-and-Geese-1/i-zRj3fdS/0/XL/IMG2783-XL.jpg

As Cranes do commonly fly in formations being social and migratory.
But then your birds here are surely having their Necks in crook just like a flying Heron that obviously never fly in formation (Territorial, non migratory). And I do see that very similar pattern of fly with same type of bird in silhouette, very commonly at my place every early spring when American White Pelicans (The infamous subject of Snout in my few posts back) show up to check the blossom. My best guess was that they are pelicans in a normal formation fly. So I doubt...

But no I have seen your Woodpeckers blog and now that we are on the right topic, can you tell me how I can get rid of my flicker that thinks my home is his (Probably he is right and was living there before me but I am the one who pays the morgage). This guy makes a nasty hole on third floor sun warm wall all the time during winter or summer and after sever thousands in repair, it usually takes only few days to see the same whole back only a bit wider!!! I am giving up on how to get the guy convinced that he needs to find something else to peck and the funny thing is that the hole he makes is to be occupied by Starlings or pygmy nuthatchs. Not sure if he makes that to take a dinner on offspring's of non paying tenants! I would be thankful if you can give me a hint as to how to deal with the nasty flicker.

And Maureen: What a lucky guy. BTW for the first time you pictured a wedding that is not in Hawaii! Wonder if I should repost your image as "Non Traditional" with emphasis on grooms shoes!

Well before I get my objects for the next subject let me explain why I think the next image fits the title.

Conventionally to defeat gravity you want to be light and slim. Here is this atA#$ (INVALID EMAIL) bird that is actually a flying village. Something you think will never mover, let alone to fly. Yes talking of A380 airbus that is a sure Non Traditoinal flying object.

TPBM is: Casual

Friendship / support or both.

IMG NOTICE: [NOT AN IMAGE URL, NOT RENDERED INLINE]

If these two neighbors, i.e. the hard rock and patient tree could be neighbor for ages, why can't WE when we are different otherwise?

Sorry if metaphor is a beat tough to figure out but makes sense to me.
I personally like this place (Thread not the picture from BigBear that I also love), because its is a way to unwind, relax, yet get challenged and feel everything else one should, at the same time knowing there are good friends out there very different from me, living far far away but yet have the same common interest, so enjoy to support one another. Lets keep it that way for ever. Side note: (Music in background at this point should be IMAGINE by John Lennon).:):)
