And Maureen: What a lucky guy. BTW for the first time you pictured a wedding that is not in Hawaii! Wonder if I should repost your image as "Non Traditional" with emphasis on grooms shoes!

And for the record, I have only shot one Hawaiian wedding.... the rest have been on the mainland.

And I envy you so much:):):)

Sorry Maureen. My memories are lasting short
No I am going slow.

I guess now you are elevating our point of view higher than the shoes itself. Be careful that exposure and moving in same direction could be not be suitable to reveal! :)

As Cranes do commonly fly in formations being social and migratory.
But then your birds here are surely having their Necks in crook just like a flying Heron that obviously never fly in formation (Territorial, non migratory). And I do see that very similar pattern of fly with same type of bird in silhouette, very commonly at my place every early spring when American White Pelicans (The infamous subject of Snout in my few posts back) show up to check the blossom. My best guess was that they are pelicans in a normal formation fly. So I doubt..

Oddly enough I did promise to behave.and I am..just have to get this out...

They ARE cranes.If you were to look at the location of my homeland, you will see we do not have pelicans here. BUT, we DO have cranes, sandhill cranes actually, that are here all the time. So what you are seeing is NOT what I am seeing(this time, and most other times come to think of it?)

Next time you have "doubt"..research. Then all this long winded explanations of things that do not need to be explained will end, and peace and harmony will prevail.

I am now going to sit in the sun and have a cold beer and contemplate the Pelican.:cool:
As for the flicker, have you sat him down and talked to him? I have a feeling it would work.

Hi Mo:shock::shock:

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Although it is a naval aircraft, it would sink quickly in the water...
