Wow that thing is even bigger than I thought, even without going fully inverted that looks like it would be pretty sick. I bet you could get some from the ride.


So how did you pull off the camp fire, was it just really small or not even lit and you light painted it? I was curious about it because I was going to a milky way shot recently that would have a few dim street lights in the frame that I wasn't sure I could pull off even with blending stacked layers. Unfortunately the moon phase was on the wrong side of the cycle so even though it was just a thin crescent it would be right in the middle of the shot.

The fire was pretty small, I'd say 2ft high, but I didn't light paint anything in that shot. You can still get the MW with street lights or the moon in the shot, it just may not be as pronounced.
