I have never taken photos of babies before, and yesterday was my first time ever. I was so nervious holding my camera because I was scared that my photos would turn out unclear or what so ever. Any ideas on how to improve the photo? Should I brighten the eyes and maybe edit the photo in photoshop ? By the way this is David and he is my nephew.

I did some editing and I am not sure if I brightened the eyes to much or not?

Adorable! Looks like you caught some really great, genuine faces :) Were you using any lighting equipment?

I used my exteral flash. Normally I woudn't use flash, but the room was too dark and plus it was so cloudy outside and less light through the window. He makes the cutest faces when I point the camera at him :)

Wow, thanks! I just ordered one and I can't wait to try it out. I'm hoping it will make a big difference in my pictures. I love the clarity of his skin, my pictures are very noisy and I think a lot of it has to do with lighting right now.

Flash works wonders in darker places, and if you bounce the flash off the walls the eyes should catch a glow. The baby in these pictures has white skin, but because I bounced the flash of the walls the skin turned slightely orange :D

They are great! I agree with brightening the eyes a touch to make those brown beauties pop! nice work!
