It seems interesting to discuss the effectiveness of Carbon Fiber tripod in real life - especially performance after many years of use. It can also help discussing if "buy for a lifetime" that works for old heavy metal tripod isn't becoming a myth for CF tripods.
Has anyone who bough a carbon fiber tripod at least 10 years ago and still using it strong? In the course of using have you face any problem (accidents/incidents) that cause CF to fail?
Or for those two have failed CF tripod during the course of use - what happened to them?
