Gaming vs. Workstation Video Card

Would it be better to get a workstation type video card for photoshop and video editing or will a video card of the gaming variety suffice?

That thread does give good advice. An midrange card that's compatible with CS5 will do, it's not used all that much so don't go spending a lot of money. Do get 1Gb RAM, some software's starting to take advantage of it.
