OK

I just purchased pixel creator pro for album production. Ive watched all the videos that kevin puts out. Program looks pretty cool and i think it will be a time saver for me( once i get a flow down) plus allow me to get some better looks than what i am currently doing.

I have been using the album companies ROES programs and the templates allow you to drop in photos, change backdrops, and im off to the races. They work well but we wanted a more custom look. But ive never used bridge in photoshop. My basic work flow is that i shoot RAW and everthing goes into LR, additional editing in CS5, i export files from LR to my drive as jpegs and drop a folder into the roes pograms. So now i need to create a flow that i do on my system.

So here are the questions

1. I was going to create a Album folder and add to it for each client that i make an album for.

2 Once i create the page in pixel creator, this is where im getting a little confused and breaking down. Do i "save as" first as a psd ? The Psds should go into the clients folder.

3 Then i was going to reimport those psd's into my clients lightroom catalog as a jpeg and keep them with all the raw files in the same folder.

I Just dont have a good process from after i create the file in Cs5 and thats where i need the help.

Right now i have to create a folder on the drive from LR for the Images to be used in the album on my drive. Lets say 60 Jpeg files. I go into bridge to get the images for the program, then after i create, i drop the psd's into the client folder. Then i reimport in LR and keep those album templates as a jpeg on the LR raw folder.

Seems like im chasing my tail. Is there a better way. better yet, someone have a good tutorial. Would be cool if i could go straight from LR to CS5 w/o creating all these folders. I dont know if this is possible with how these programs interact and at my current skill level.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you could make.

My wedding workflow covers this. Your post and workflow confuses me.

Why did you decide to buy something rather than use PhotoJunction, which is effective and free?

You should post in the wedding forum with wedding topics, you'll get more professionals answering :)
