Which would you choose between these 3 Softboxes?

I'm hoping you could point me in the right direction between these 3 softboxes for my single (pretty soon, dual) 430EXII setup:

EZ Pro 32"x48"
http://www.amazon.com …1?ie=UTF8&m=AG1FKBNAQKSKJ (external link)

or

Bowen 32"x 40"
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ftbox_40x32_100x80cm.html (external link)

or

Wescott 36"x48"
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …Photo_Basics_Softbox.html (external link)

I like the Bowens and Wescott 'straight forward' softbox approach with your standard 2 diffusion layers... while the EZ Pro is an umbrella type which has an internal beautydish to spread the light? Along with an internal diffussion layer too? For some reason I don't know how I feel about this. I'm not sure I like my speedlight head firing right onto the umbrella shaft, especially given how close the umbrella shaft sits to the flash head.

Pic of the EZ Pro internal umbrella shaft:

IMAGE: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/519MDZjq4VL.jpg

Its a small flash head to begin with and the umbrella shaft being so close to it, it seems I may loose efficiencty this way - but this is just my personal theory.

Any thoughts? Out of the three, which would you go with for a 430EXII

Anyway, any input is GREATLY appreciated.

(EDIT: intended use - indoor and outdoor 3/4 to full body shots)

The idea is to spread the light.
I have a couple of the EZ Pro Octaboxes and like them. Great bang for the buck.
How are you going to attach the 430EX to the box?
The best way would be to get the box with a Bowens adapter and then get one of these (external link).

I have a Cheetah Speed Pro Bracket which is a Bowen mount.

How do you find the umbrella beauty dish style compared to the more normal dual layer diffusion style ?

Do you plan to use these with two speedlites?

I will pick the photoflex if planning to use two speedlites with kacey's bracket/speedring

1. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …e_Q39_Medium_Softbox.html (external link)

Or better (SP Systems 27" EZpro) if using one speedlite

2. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_27_x_27_Collapsible.html (external link)

or this octa

^ Thanks for the input.

My main concern is the basic design of the umbrella type softbox, vs. the regular softbox.

The EZPro has a design where the speedlight would fire right onto the center umbrella rod. (Perhaps I'm nieve, but I don't like this). I like the idea of firing directly onto the inner diffusion layer better.

This is basically what I'm looking for input on.

Don't sweat over the design. It works well and you won't see or measure a difference. Pick the size, design and mount that you like.

How are you planning on using dual 430's?

I'm looking at doing something very similar to you, but the Kacey bracket is the only option I have found for dual lights.

Then you haven't seen these, I'm guessing.

I just got one of these and I'm very impressed.

Ok, I boiled it down to these two:

Bowens 32"x 40"
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ftbox_40x32_100x80cm.html (external link)

or

Interfit 36"x48"
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_Range_Softbox_36x48.html (external link)

I feel the Bowen is a bit higher quality and it comes with the speedring, flush front diffusion.

But the Interfit is slightly bigger and has the outer lips for slightly more light control. But I'll need to spend another $30 for a speedring so they are about the same pricewise.

Of these two, which do you feel is the best choice? Bowens 'quality', or the larger Ingerfit.

See at this point, I'm not so sure how those extra few inches of the larger Interfit will make a difference.

If you're thinking of getting or adding a grid then you're going to want to stay away from modifiers with a flush front diffusion panel.

No grid on this, I have a Cheetah 36" Octa with grid.

I'm trying to decide between these two to 'compliment' the Cheeta Octa as a second light source for fill, or main depending on what style of shoot I'm doing.
