I used a reflector the tiniest bit of fill flash through a shootthrough if needed. canon 500d and the 50mm 1.4

I like the first the most.

1st one is the best IMO
I think in 2 and 3 there is too much space about that is left open.
4th is a good shot too

Thanks - and no problem re the PP.

The PP was fairly minimal in lightroom. saturation and contrast + a couple of notches. I added a tiny bit of fill light, then using the point curve point a bend a third of the way to black and then dragged the black intercept (where it touches the vertical axis) up a little to wash out the blacks a bit. Finally a sharpen (high mask, radius 1.6)

IF you shoot into the sun a bit with a large aperture it tends to reduce the contrast anyway so my touches were really small.
