I've taken the lazy option and booked the three days off work between Easter and the May Day long weekend. I was finally therefore able to get out at sunrise today to Knapps Loch. And yesterday spent a morning at the end of my street filming some of the river walk.

Comments criticisms and suggestions are welcome and helpful as they guide in what to put up on my image site.

I think the best composition of the bunch is #5 "Knapps Loch." That one really sticks out to me; nice job.

The "Three Boats" picture I feel needs more or less DOF. Right now what you have is kind of bugging me, but maybe that's just me. Less would isolate the boats more so I think that's what I would prefer here.

The best waterfall shot is the third one. Did you use a circular polarizer at all? I'm guess not because there's some glare on the tree leaves to the left that's bugging me. It's close to being blown out and a CirPol would have eliminated that.

The "Water Splashing" shot I think needs a much faster shutter speed to really freeze the motion. If you wanted the blurry water look then I think you need to use a much slower shutter speed, but what you have now it's sort of in the middle and doesn't work too well.

Thanks for the comments they're very helpful. I did use a circ polariser yes but with my current set up it's very difficult to adjust (it sits behind filter holder). I need to get one that sits at the front.

I agree with your comments on the other shots and I'll delete them as they are pretty ordinary.

With kind regards
Jeff
