I recently got back from a trip to the Amazon Rainforest in Peru and when I was there, I got a chance to take some portraits of locals dressed up as native Yagua Indians.

Black and white has the classic "documentary" feel but takes away from the little details like the color red that pops out in my opinion.

I have a couple more but these are just 2 that I edited in both color and b/w.

For sure color the second one as there is just so much more accent to it! The first photo i like black and white because i'm more focus on the women herself, otherwise my eyes wander to the different colors (especially the yellow bananas). Maybe even a crop just above the bananas would improve the photo a little more? Looks like it was a neat trip!

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'll edit some in color and some in B/W depending on the photo.
