For print (8x10), I do have it cropped a little tighter so I like it original and the crop version.

Thanks everyone for the CC and the feedbacks.

I'm on the fence about the framing, but leaning toward the original. There is a slight tilt to the image which should be fixed, though.

Regardless, it is a great image. Well lit and well composed.

Just curious, was there any reason to shoot at ISO 400 @ 1/3200? Seems like it would be better to be at ISO 100 and 1/800 since there was no movement that needed such a high SS.

Edit: Maybe there isn't a tilt in the image. For some reason it looks like there is, but it may be my eyes playing tricks on me.

Come on people... you don't think this is better?
QUOTED IMAGE

No.

Now that it was mentioned, I'd try to burn the blown areas on the left of the trees or something to make them a little less noticeable. But, the original works well IMHO.

Despite the high cost of living, it remains popular.

The original one! I agree with some of the other posters, what makes the picture is the framing and the composition. In my opinion, everyone can have a picture of their hot girlfriend by themselves fairly easily, but to have their girlfriend in an awesome framing, now that's a different story.

Nice photo. One of the classic rules of posing in not to point limbs directly at the camera; she has all four aimed at the camera.

I'd also suggest burning the dappled light spots just behind her; they tend to draw the eyes away from the subject.

The EXIF is crazy; why would you need ISO 400 and 1/3200 shutter speed to shoot a stationary subject in open shade?

I prefer the original to the cropped version. One (minor) criticism is that the bokeh is a little distracting. Perhaps darkening the treetops a bit would help.

Gorgeous shot!

This is almost completely unrelated but something I noticed: Your asian, she's white! Go you! (Caucasian females don't seem to like asian males for some reason!)

Going with Jose, GJ living the asian dream.... I'm failing it.

I wish the background was more blurred out imo. I like the shot but maybe lower and a different angle?

I think I'd also like it better if the bokeh was a little darker. I think it would also benefit from adding more of the foreground and have her a little farther away. I still think it's a good image though

I definitely like the framing in the OPs original version. Very nice work. All personal preference though. But something to be careful of, as the OP does not mind in this instance but others you come across will be quite offended, is editing someone's work and re-posting if they do not give you permission for that picture or have do not have "Image Editing OK" in their profile under their avatar. See forum rules HERE and scroll down to "important reading" section. Just a friendly heads up before someone DOES get offended. ;)

I appreciate all the tips and the feedbacks but as Brandon noted, my profile is not OK for "Image Edit".

I like the original better. Everyone has their own opinion, but she is kinda hot. :). As far as lighting, not as in looks (although she is good looking). She pops, in relation to the background. I hope you got some close ups of her with that lighting because I think it would look great (especially with her eyes and topaz accessories).

The arboretum is great this time of year.
