I think I could shoot no problem... its the processing that I hate... I mean c'mon sorting through 1000-2000 photos of the same faces :rolleyes:

hehehe I really hate post processing..you guys could probably tell

If you're shooting more than 2k shots, there's something wrong. One wedding single shooter should give you no more than 1400 images. Otherwise, you're spraying and praying. ;)

Yup your looking to get around 1k-1.4k. Anymore than that and you should just video tape the event :p

Thats the part i dont mind at all. Once you have your PP set up its a matter of just getting rid of the no good images. I actually enjoy the PP portion. :)

ehehe I get sleepy very very quickly man haha

yeap I think 2000 is too much really

maybe a thousand is good enough..even then I am too lazy to process them all that's why I am down to about 200/day now when I go out and shoot..sometimes even less but the more keepers but then I am not that meticulous and perfectionist either

in case you guys wanna know... this is CR's current take.. Summary of important details haha

May 3 2011

1Ds Mark IV / 1D Mark V
The same person alluded to the merging of the 1D line being sooner than expected. There would need to be some new tech in a merged 1D to keep the 10fps of the 1D and the resolution of the 1Ds. It should be interesting.

April 27

24-70 f/2.8L II
Apparently 5 versions of this lens exist. A few even have IS. It is slated for a 2011 announcement. The patent we’ve seen says no IS.

APS-H & ISO
The 1.3 crop will be going away. All cameras going forward will be APS-C and full frame. The ISO performance of upcoming cameras from Canon will be industry leading. This is in part because of sensor technology advancements as well as DIGIC V.

35 f/1.4L II
The prototype exists and is slated for a 2011 announcement.

I tell the couple they'll get a minimum of 100 photos but it is usually around 500 on disc.

The PP part can be a chore, and I'll have 5 weddings in the space of 5 weeks during July/August which will test my patience in front of the computer a bit! Wouldn't be so bad if I was a full time shooter but trying to get it done during evenings after work can suck at times!!

A lot of it is organizing and batching. I lost patience with editing so many images.
