Exactly... Why would I get banned.... I am refraining from using a full form of the word...
I am banning the word... :) What rules am i breaking?? :D

Why use the word at all, in any form? It serves absolutely no purpose and this IS a family friendly forum.

Profanity is merely a crutch for the illiterate. Is that the group with which you wish to be associated?

Besides, if you want to swear, you could at least be creative, not same old, same old.

So true. In my eyes, every time someone spews out curses, my opinion of them gets lower and lower. I have made it this far in life without needing those words.

Not necessarily. After all, he IS a surgeon.

The difference between a surgeon and a general practitioner is this: If you go in a say you're just not feeling very well, a GP reaches for a thermometer, a surgeon reaches for a scalpel. After all, anything can be cured by cutting the patient open.

Although I agree this is a family oriented forum and not the place for profanity I disagree that profanity is merely a crutch for the illiterate. To me, they are words with meaning, and like all words, there is a time and place when that word is more appropriate than any other word.

Unfortunately, I have been known to curse upon occasion. Computers (vile tools of the Devil) are good at causing me to speak strongly to the Lord.

Yes, they do have meaning and there is a time and a place to use them, but for the most part, they are not used for their proper meaning. If they are used properly, I have no problem with them.

Computers can throw the most civil of people into violent swearing rages.
