She wants!

You know how mechanics are about their pinups! Now, ideally, it should be a calendar from Snap-On Tools. Mechanics love tools!

I just love double entendres.

Of course she wants!

I typically search out and purchase fireman calendars. Local ones if possible. They look great and are usually done in support of a local charity. Last year's was the firemen of Toronto and it supported St. Margaret's Hospital foundation.

The guys usually while and bellyache about having to "look at that" but then they have their pinups too. I once (still have) a calendar that was double sided. One side for the ladies, the other side for the guys. It was continuously getting turned around when I wasn't watching

I think helen has a red light in her Office for when someone has an issue with Adorama and complains on a forum about it :)

Sooo...

I was thinking of getting a Sigma 30mm f/1.4 butttt I'm afraid then my 50 will sit in my bag :(

I just kinda enjoyed the 35mm f/1.8 on my mom's Nikon and want the same for my 7D....the slightly wider AoV comes in handy...

What you talking about? Thats like saying people don't use both the 50mm FoV and the 85mm FoV? Crazy! I've been contemplating a 30mm... but I think from a business point of view I need a 24-70/17-50

It's a picture called "Hangover Cat." I like him because he looks like I feel. That is, of course, on a good day.

I want to see the full picture, is it shopped or does the cat actually look like that?

Because he acts like what he is, a Monk3y.

Besides, he keeps trying to burn out our retinas with malice aforethought.

Woah! Pretty legal jargon there :p

I was waiting for your input on it ;)

The Sigma 30 is just the only lens i want that doesnt have a horrid unbelievable markup on it

Though i think it used to be cheaper

Heh, I just got up :D Lenses are getting so expensive! I am trying to convince my wife to let me buy a ton of lenses before they get more expensive. I was using the 1D4 as an example. I could have gotten one for around $3900 last year, now it is around $5500. Hopefully the finance logic in her clicks :p

I think it would be a good idea if you feel you need the focal length oppose to getting it for the heck of getting it.

Well its that i really love the little Nikon 35mm f/1.8, I think its a nice lens, and i happen to enjoy the perspective it gives me in some situations..The Sigma gives me essentially the same lens with a bit more speed on my 7D

Also sometimes when im doing the food shots the 50 is a bit long and something in the 24-30mm range would work nicer, i just miss the uber-wide aperture when i use the 15-85 for such things...Not that the 15-85 is bad its just sometimes having f/1.4 or f/2 would be awesome

Well then... sounds like you do need the Sigma 30 1.4, get on it Kenji before prices rise more!
