In the 7D you can select 4 different groups of points. But your focusing system is awesome anyway. Dont worry about grouping. Play around with it. Use all 3 options and see which one works Great for children shots when they are running around ![]() 5 different groups vipergts831 wrote in post #12404245 I found the link Will: http://help.adobe.com …2e081210db09b94-7fef.html As you can see at the bottom of it: Press Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) while dragging a slider to see the areas being affected (white) versus the areas masked out (black). I do this all the time. I hate! universal sharpening! Cool, I'll look at it after my final today! tonylong wrote in post #12404246 I am a pretty stubborn goat -- I like to stick Lightroom and just my Raw files unless I have to go to Photoshop, which doesn't happen often. So, yeah Lightroom does not have a specific selective noise reduction effect. It does, though have a brush effect for Sharpening and Softening, which can actually do a lot unless your noise is really bad. That's what I'm trying to work with. Here's a major thread with all kinds of stuff on sharpening: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=466333 Thanks for the link!
