Using your mom's card isn't building you any credit, thats also important. How will you ever be able to get a loan if you don't have have a awesome credit score?

you gotta give the guy a bit of slack man..he is just 15  are 15 years old allowed to have a card in the states?

College loans tend to be pretty good in the grand scheme of loans, the government is to thank for that. House and cars on the other hand...

I would recommend make sure the CC doesn't have fees and I wouldn't worry about the interest, as long as you pay on time, no interest issues right?

we don't have college loans here..in fact I just got my own card about a year ago  one problem I have is that I don't have a pay slip of some sort that I can show them...and they won't accept All my company files with my name on it  they still need a pay slip until such time that my bank gave me one but with a measly $1800 limit

good thing I also have my parent's extension card for $10k++ limit I think just for emergency purposes of course... I was never a big spender

not sure about the states Will, but you brought up a good point , your credit score will be significantly higher if you have a $2000 card with a balance of $1000 instead of always maxed out

i have a $5000 card and a $10,000 card but i keep the amounts really low and make full payments on purchases if i can

this is actually the first time ever I have hit max..because of the Phantom :rolleyes:

and I did convert more than half of it to Installment plan payment :D

somehow 60D is just getting a bad rap... its probably as good or even better than previous cameras but people are looking at it the wrong way

I would never "Downgrade" to it but I think its a nice camera
