I like the first one a lot.... though I feel as if I am staggering as it is a bit tilted ;)

The second one... the horizon is all slanted, and I'm not sure what the focal point is :(

The flowers are nice, maybe create a dark background to add some contrast ?? They seem to be just about as light as the background... the pattern within the flowers is very nice :D

That building is really cool... maybe try taking it from further away so that it isn't at such a harsh angle??

Love the pic of the Moon!!!! :D I still cannot figure out how to do that! :P

I really like the B&W of the pool balls..... takes something so normally busy with color and reduces it to something very nice and classy :D I also like the lighting on them :)

And the last one.... I've never been a fan of those kinds of star? pics :P There just isn't enough to "see" Maybe in color with a blue/indigo sky?

But, these are of course just my opinions :D All in all they are very nice :D

Thanks for the good words.

I really like taking things as they are, just me. So I didn't want to mess with the flowers, though I didn't expect the background to be so light.

The color shot, I was trying to get a lightning storm in those clouds, it was just too long an exposure, and it just didn't work. but something about it I still liked.

...my old tripod had a level, but oddly since upgrading to a bogen from a sunpak it doesn't have that feature, but it is much nicer and more sturdy, so I might go and get a lil mini level to stick on it somewhere.

The building...well, thats in an alley, and my tripod legs were against the building behind me. I can't for the life of me figure a better angle, I tried a few and that's the only one that worked. C'est la vie. It's pretty wild seeing that 20 feet up in an alley.

For the Moon, it was my first attempt. The shot previous I had too much exposure and it go no detail, so the white balance lies on that. Less exposure, good zoom, tripod = win. I know my next go will be better.

IN an alley..... that IS a strange spot for such a large painted ad :p hhmmmmmm....maybe fiddle with the distortion a bit in PS? It's a really neat building :) Or, maybe if you have a remote shutter button... you could hoist the camera up on a tripod and snap a pic or two ;) I like the idea of the pic... just the angle that makes my neck hurt LOL It would be a great place to put a Chiropractor's ad ;) Hahaha

eeerrrr.... I see now..not ad :P LOL But sign ;) Was the storefront in the alley as well?
