A macro i took a months ago. Any comments or advice would be much appreciated.

The angle of the shot is a little awkward to me. I probably would have shot lower & from the side to try and get those three big drops next to each other all in focus. Don't know if that would actaully be any better, just what I probably would have tried.

nice shot! for some reason it distracts me that the in-focus part is so far to the left. maybe a tighter crop to justify the rule of thirds?

I think the shadows are too dominate.

Saying that, I was planning on doing some macro shots this weekend. Having just got a set of Kenko tubes, I was looking to do a similar shot to yours. I will probably be very happy if I can achieve what you have done !!
