It'll be here tmrw morning - can't wait to pair it up with my 5D2. I really want to try out the 135L + 5D2 and the 35L + T2i together as a system for events and even when I start to do e-sessions.

Fare well 17-55, sry I sold you for a 135L...was a nice 4 months

Funny, I did the same thing...mine comes tomorrow also. I justified the purchase for indoor sports (volleyball and basketball).

Enjoy

This lens continues to amaze me. It's crazy good on a 5d2 and really unique on my 1d classic. You will not be let down.

Film, suckers.

I use mine on a 60D which gets a little tricky to shoot sometimes, but heck well worth it. I get a lot of good enough to post SOOC images from this lens which is the primary reason I bought it in the first place ;)

I did the same 2 weeks ago and love it...I hate $900 whims though.

I purchased one as well and arrives tomorrow too! I was originally going to order the 70-200mkII but I was waiting for the refurbished copies to get back in stock. Since I'm so impatient, I went ahead and got the 135L.

I have been considering it as a lighter package with the 5D MKII when i dont want to haul the 70-200MKII beast around. So IMO having both would be ideal.

Be nice if someone would buy me the 135L for my Birthday ! :p

Regards, ;)

I keep looking at the 135 but having the 100L and 70-200 2.8 make it seem unnecessary but I never use the 70-200 because its so big and heavy so I may eventually sell it and pick up the 135 + 1.4X

lol...its funny that the exact time I make this post all my fellow lens-aholics on this forum are buyin the same lens. We'll at least you guys keep it real - 135L seems like good glass from what I've seen. I really have no urge to get the 70-200 2.8II anymore, I think the 135L will suffice for mid range indoors either on the t2i or 5D2. Only time i really use my 70-200 is outside anyways, f/4 is plenty.

As for my craving for the 85L...I can't say that the 135L is going to help quell that, but I don't think I need 85L for what I shoot mostly, that is until i slap one on my 5D2 right?? I'll stay away for now. Cheers guys and thanks!
