I can see it now. Marna uses the annual D&M POTN BBQ as a good excuse to buy more dishes, silver, glasswear, etc.

Pretty much, they purchased a brand new patio set a few years back to help accommodate Kevin, wheelchair bound. It was very nice of them.

I spoke with Kevin; he would love to come but he can't tolerate the heat anymore.... has to stay in a cool environment.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Central California is a cool environment? LOL. OK, it's his call, but if it turns out to be a rainy day or just plain cold, he'd better be on my doorstep!

Well he lives in Moro Bay; averages about 64 degrees year round. Lets not be too hasty in the judgement call. Just because Kevin doesn't complain about his medical issues doesn't mean there aren't things most people don't know or understand.

Mo', it is very important to keep up the teasing! All of us who know Kevin, respect and admire him and wouldn't really want him to be uncomfortable ... and I don't have air conditioning in my house!

I'll bring a small swamp cooler if that would help. It does a fair job of cooling off our bedroom and our temps are in the 100's during the summer months. :) Or maybe we could have a winter meet up in Moro Bay. There lots of great things to shot in that area.:)

Suggestions welcome.

You can always have a Winter POTN BBQ up there! We love Moro Bay. I go to a lot of stuff at Light Photographic Workshops in Los Osos and we camp at Moro Bay State Park.

Getting out of town always sounds good to us and we have camped at Moro Bay campground too. Great little campground with lots of things to shoot within walking distance of the campground. Just remember to bring your own firewood, as the wood in Moro Bay woun't burn as it's much too wet.
