I had a CD explode in my DVD burner yesterday. Parts blasted out the front after ripping off the cover and flew across the room. When I went to open the case to pull out the drive a part of the CD almost made it out the back and was headed toward my chip fan. Lucky it got stuck half way between the metal and plastic. When it let go it was loud and made me jump in my seat lol. It was a WTF moment for sure. The tower is on the table at eye level but pointed to the side. If not I am sure I would of got hit in the face.
