Hi all
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1LOyerVCP8![]()
I posted the above trailer on violence and recovery about a week ago and your response was both extremely kind and uplifting.
In so many ways, filming has revealed both devastating, yet seemingly improvable issues (without further spending)..and yet in every city in our nation, young kids die. Moreover, it has become accepted by outside communities as the norm.
At present, the trailer posted was never meant to be released, It was put out to continue a conversation and connect with engaged individuals such as you.
This board has 296,573 members. That is extraordinary and powerful.
With that, through online art, engagement (and not blame), can a board delve into meaningful conversation and potentially come to a consensus on a key issue. Moreover, what can 296,573 individuals do about it to change policy and thinking in America? How can we leverage our individual/artistic assets/contacts and execute a plan. Is that something you might be interested in?
In 4 months the film will begin to deliver extremely intimate material. . It is not a gang film, anti-gang film or film on gang culture. It does not blame communities or individuals living the "lifestyle." Rather, it looks into recovery, engagement and the toll of politics and inaction. How can we become better?
Thank you very much and do let me know your thoughts.
Jeff
