How can you specialize in almost everything (newborn, family, maternity, senior, sports, event, commercial, real estate and engagement)? I understand listing what you do for your visitors and SEO, but lose the 'specialize'. SEO-wise you need to read my SEO link in my sig.

I kind of agree with 'gdrMatt'. "Click Happy Photo" doesn't really look happy to me. I don't mind gray websites (I used to have one myself), but your name and logo doesn't say "happy".

ClickHappy Photo is a Richmond, VA based photography company that specializes in infant, family, maternity, senior, sports, event, commercial, real estate and engagement photography.

You can't use the word specialize when you are generalizing.

I suppose I should have mentioned that this site is a testing domain and I was hoping to get some feedback on the functionality and usability of the site. I guess I did indirectly as the wording is the main issue. Easy fix. Thanks. I'll also do more SEO optimization before making the site live.

The brick, I'm not sure how my paying or not paying taxes impacts a site critique. Care to elaborate?

The navigation controls seem very choppy on IE8. Like if I hover over gallery, I don't want to wait 3 seconds for the choices to populate..

Interesting, I don't have that issue in IE8 when testing, but I will look at the navigation script and see if there's something causing it. Thanks!

Most likely I'm seeing it because it was the first time I went to the website. Try the website from as many different foreign browsers as possible.. iPhone, Firefox, IE6, Chrome, etc. You'll find the experience can be drastically different.
Make sure you have a consistent look across all browsers (usually by following W3C standards).

It's already live. I see 26 results from Google: http://www.google.com …te%3Aclickhappyphotos.com (external link)

The menu is a wordpress plugin, so if it has cross browser issues, I can either make some changes or just swap the plugin out for a different menu.

Of course it is live, or you wouldn't be able to see it to review it. My actual domain is different; this is a testing domain. Google must have found it via a link in one of these types of threads. By live, I meant switching this test site to my advertised domain...

I realized what you meant after I posted...LOL! I use a subdomain that doesn't get indexed for my "sandbox" (playing). :)

Price page: change the color scheme. White and gray on mold yellow really isn't that readable and isn't impressive to view. You have a note about included prints when buying additional prints but you don't list prices for additional prints. And your prices look almost dirt cheap too.

Same goes for your "contact" page, can't read the gray text at all. Just change gray text on that yellow wherever it may be.. it's in a lot of places! It's unreadable.

And the font of "Click Happy Photo" looks like a cheap windows included font. Replace it with something more attractive and professional.

I have made extensive color scheme changes, eliminating background images by replacing them with pure CSS.

Thanks for the suggestions so far, I like the new design much better already.

ETA: Also, updated page title to contain SEO info. I think it's about done. Any other suggestions?
