Hey guys. I'm looking to pull the trigger on a Pelican Case this afternoon. I thought I had it all narrowed down, but I'm stuck on one last bit: what color should I get!

I'm pretty sure it's between yellow and black. The black seems more "sleek," but the yellow seems more easily visible. I'm going to put a stripe or two of yellow tape on the black case just to make it stand out. Possibly a sticker or two as well. But the yellow might just...I don't know, seem off?

I'm planning on using this just as a case for a bunch of gear, possibly throwing it in the trunk of a car if I'm doing a location shoot. Potentially taking it into the wilderness/offroading, where the visibility might help. But then again, the visibility just might be an eye-sore in an urban setting.

Help me make up my mind! Poll at the top. :p

Black is the new black. Your battery grip will appreciate the slimming effect.

I went with Black...

I had problems with some stickers as it's a porous surface...ended up not putting any on.

Well...that's two for black and one for yellow.

The overwhelming majority says black, I guess .

I love the yellow but went with black on mine 'cause it's less conspicuous.

Have a yellow an it does stand out. Almost too much. Going for the black this time when I get the 1514. Don't want to have it scream come get me at an airport.

I've pulled the trigger on a 'desert tan'....cooler then a black one (its a large surface in the sun...) and less conspicuous the yellow....

I have black, after 2 years it still looks like new. I like the OD green and tan, I may go with one of those for my next case. The only ones I don't care for are the yellow (too bright and shows dirt/wear) and the silver (it just looks bad).

I roll only black. I pretty much like ALL my electronics and electronics related things to be all black. I think they look nicer. Classier. Sleeker. Cleaner. etc.

I don't travel overseas with my pelicans but I use the yellow just to be able to find it. Doing dusk photography, it is not easy to find a dark coloured one in the dark! But then, this may be a special situation!
