I really like both - natural light?

Her hair is fading too much into the quite dark background in no 1 - but that's nitpicking.

1. Don't crop hands and feet of your models because it looks very bad and it's a very common mistake. Pay more attention to model's pose, she looks like she's got her shoulders twice as wide as her loins which looks a bit creepy. I like the overall mood and colors but the cropping killed this photo for me.

2. Also avoid the light direct from the sun because some parts of the picture will get overexposed and will look flat and you won't be able to retouch them. Try to take photos in shadow instead, the final effect wil be a lot better.

I like the model - you should take her on another session for sure ;)

Agree about the models hands and feet. It is a common mistake. No worries...just try to remember that next time. Also agree that its not flattering to shoot a woman square on. It makes her look larger than she is. I do like the first one though, albeit for the hands being cut off.

I like both.

Yes it'd be a stronger shot if both hands weren't chopped off a tad but it doesn't make it a bad shot. And you can tell she's twisting by the creases in her shirt hence not making it creepy that her waist line looks smaller.

I could careless about the chopped off shoe, I still dig it. PP could be a little better, maybe try b&w?

Anyways, nice work Dan. Got anymore from this set? I really dig this models look. People get way too caught up in all the technical crap to just enjoy pictures.
