So this shoot didn't go exactly as planned. I realized later that evening that Octavia (she is my youngest of 8) had some sort of a tummy bug coming on...she threw up on the way home in the car and has had diarrhea ever since. Poor baby! :( I usually go for the more eye contacty photos, but this one speaks to me. She was very cautiously interested in the little frogs that were hopping around EVERYWHERE. I think they must be breeding right now. Anyways...I had all these great ideas to do with her in this little angel costume, but the rest of that will have to wait for a better day. Just wanted to share this one though. :)

What a precious expression. A photo you both will treasure for some time, I'm sure. Beautifully done in black and white. Great angle and expression, lovely bokeh too. Really, wonderfully done. I hope she's feeling better!
