So I have a shoot coming up where I'm using both a 5D and a 7D to shoot the same scene. I want them to have identical DoF on each scene. I know I can through and do the math using a straight forward DoF calculator and come up with the aperture that yields the same result for each sensor size. But given that there are numerous shots and the subject distances might be changed etc, I was wondering if there was a calculator that would tell me the aperture that would yield the consistent result without me have to go through the math/calculations for example if I plug in
5DII - f/5.6 - distance to subject of 10ft = 5 feet in focus with y as the critical focus distance
7d - f/x - distance to subject of 10 ft - = 5 feet in focus with y as the critical focus distance
Where the calculator would give me the value x
