It looks a lot like a pure RAW file to me. (I think they are out of focus to start though) The eyes could take a good dose of sharpening,(I think they are out of focus to start though) the black level raised and some saturation increase. But thats just me.

it looks dull and out of focus or just soft. Can't really find where is your focus point, are you using Servo Mode? I'm not too sure what's overdone here.


No I'm not a photographer, I just shoot with Canon DSLR with those lenses with red thingy...;)

it's a good composition, don't get me wrong but the lighting is really flat. She already have a clean face but I would still brush it up to give drama and appeal to it. She's beautiful to me and I would definitely capitalize on her willingness to pose, if I were you for more practice. Did you use any reflector or anyt strobes on this or just natural lighting. Also, her eyes is very distracting with the reflection.

Looks a bit underexposed to me also. Sharpness looks a lot better on the second shot.

so true, just natural light. i was trying to emphasize the eyes and lips not really sure if i over sat. them. here is another photo from the same day.

thats a complete 180 from the first one, now I can see the PP. You're losing details on some parts.

thanks, with the first one i was experimenting on editing the eyes and lips during lr then cs with a twist in overlay i chose that pic coz its the only one i haven't touch in the set. don't really know if the eyes and lips came out ok or over sat.

yes i think i gave it to much g. blur i used 15% and toned it down to 50% im using CS5

try blending it with soft light and then turn down the opacity
