do the used Ls come with the hood and pouch? or do they sell only the lens and not package those in?

Ask for pictures and details BEFORE you buy. You don't want to start another thread about how you got a lens in worse condition or other than advertised. I'm just saying, be thorough and cautious for your own sake.

It usually has a comment that should indicate what you'll get. The 100-400L has a note in red below the image says "W/HOOD & CASE". So just read the listing carefully and don't assume anything. If you're really unsure, I'd suggest waiting until they're open and calling instead of ordering via the internet.

When you click on the CONDITION button you will open another window where you will see a table listing the condition of each grade. At the bottom of the table is the following:

Accessories:

New - As Packaged by manufacturer
For all other grades - Instruction books, caps, batteries, cases, and straps are sold separately, except when specified.
All digital cameras are packed with Battery and charger except when stated otherwise.
*Used Lens Glass Disclaimer - Lenses, even when brand new from the factory, may have a slight amount of dust visible between the lens elements. This is an unavoidable result of the manufacturing process and will not affect image quality or resolution.

I hope this helps, but please do email me Helen@adorama.com (external link) if you require additional information or pictures of the unit before you order.

interesting question but wouldn't that depend on wether the seller sold Adorama the lens, hood & pouch?

I can't imagine a roaring market in used hood/pouches so wouldn't think Adorama would do anything but check condition, clean if necessary & box up again/ advertise said lens for sale... (otherwise they'd probably have warehouses full of odd accessories!)

I suppose Helen will be along shortly to say they have a large number of accessory warehouses! ;)

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
