OK, OK,, some of you may have missed the part in my OP here that invited us to have fun with this, not to take it so seriously!!
Then, perhaps trying to understand what Dan/Woolburr was trying to illustrate in an extreme way. He and I actually communicated a bit in another thread that we participate in. He explained that his long-time workflow has come from preparing images for printing, not so much directed for the Web, whereas I and many of us actually prepare for the Web (where ppi "doesn't matter") and separately for print (where ppi does matter).
He was simply pointing out in an extreme way what can happen if people get their workflow mixed up if they don't understand what they are doing, and we played around with that. For those of you who actually read the whole thread (including the followups), I believe we in the end made things rather clear, all the "silly" image posts aside...
