He reminds me of a member here (who I think is now banned) on POTN. Not that I've personally met this member, but is ethnicity and humour are similar.

Oh c'mon. Kai and Lok have a cult following.

I think they're great. How unorthodox.. skinny Chinese guy with a strong British accent. And imo, DigitalRev TV is fairly well produced. I thoroughly enjoy their review.

Tho...I think he really loves Nikon and Leica but tolerates Canon.

He's been a fan of Nikon forever. This was a good clip, he's got quite a few others that good. I've enjoyed his videos for awhile.

I think, for what it is, those reviews are pretty well put together.

No bragging list - I just rent whatever the job requires.

I enjoy watching digitalrev videos. They are informative but not boring. It beats watching some 12 year old unbox a $2k lens with a horrible squeaky child voice.

I often find them over done and bordering on pretentious.

That said I still end up watching much of the time. :D

Yeah.. to me, they're the photography world's equivalent to Top Gear.. and Kai is Jeremy Clarkson. :D Umm.. the model in the video, certainly was bokEHliscious.

I like the guy. He makes the video interesting and has a great sense of humour.

I've not used the Nikons, the Sigma nor the 85L,, but I own the EF 85mm f/1.8 and what he says is spot on. Big bang for your buck, one of those truly bargain lenses. Put a red ring on it, raise the price and people will still buy it.

Wow, the 85L is a MASSIVE piece of glass compared to the rest, I think I want it...

Kai seems to be trying too hard these days. All real information seems to be ignored in attempts for cheap laughs, but I guess it is good if it get's DigitalREV a lot of business. I personally have had enough of it and am not really interested in watching it. Kai seems like most "photographers" these days and seems more obsessed with the expensive, cool, over compensating, show off how much money you have side of photography than with actually taking pictures.

Makes me wonder why they're so popular...

He does suck it up and admit it when a Canon lens is good though, He never seems unfair or biased, a bit of cheeky jabbing here or there but generally not a bad person

He carries a camera bag that costs more than some lenses.
