Yesterday we visited a friend who raises Cavalier King Charles dogs. My grand daughter was holding a puppy when she got this kiss....

That's awesome! I usually have to resort to peanut butter on the cheek to get a shot like that...

Ah...no...This is a $2,000 championship bloodlines dog. This sweetie(and she really is one) is destined to be a mom herself...hopefully producing some champions as well.

My grand daughter needs a pet. She'll have to wait for something else.

Sue, re: the peanut butter. I just got lucky here. Good idea though.

Graham, I don't print many for framing....this one made it. :)

Just for the fun of it, I did a tighter crop of this picture.

What do you all think? Is a tighter crop a better choice in a picture like this or is the crop in the original post a better choice?

Tx

Here's the tighter crop. Thoughts?

It's such a great shot, I like both, but I always seem to prefer tighter crops so my vote goes for #2. That pic will be a sweet memory forever. :)

Thanks all for the comments. Interesting to hear that the tighter crop may be the favorite.

Recently I showed a both shots to a photo group I'm a part of and most liked the more open crop.

This is good info for me.

Tx all again.

:)
