I just saw this on 2filter's site... I know they are reputable... and so is Hoya...

I was just shock when I read all this about Hoya Filters. There must be a very huge rift between them :confused:

I noticed the "cause" part when I was shopping for filters a while ago but hadn't seen the page from your first link. Looks like they really dislike Hoya even more now. I wouldn't mind buying from this site but they have got to have the worst website I have ever seen and trying to find what you want easily is a challenge.

I have only bought from then once and the experience has been pretty good...I am in the process of buying again and thus I found that page I linked to

I just thought it was wrong until I read further down and understood

I find 2filter.com to be a great vendor, but I usually call first prior to placing an order to verify that they have items in stock.

Whatever, guess I just won't have to consider buying from them in the future. I love my Hoya HD filters and how easy they are to clean. I had a pro1 and those streaked up a storm.

Agreed. Poor navigation, no indication of in-stock/out-of-stock balances (heck, the narrative in their link that was posted above is even poorly written). I've always stayed away from Hoya due to the multiple issues with some of their filters (cleaning issue, polarizer build quality) and stick to B+W for basics (CPL's and ND's) etc) and Singh-Ray for specialty filters. All of my B+W's are purchased through Maxsaver, without any issues whatsoever.
