Took these shots today with my nifty 250.
Just wish the light was better.

These are some great shots; makes me proud to be a T3 owner... purchased one about six months ago as a (and still a) DSLR noob and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to make the jump from a point-and-shoot, not that I have anything to compare it to but it is very user-friendly... I'll upload some photos to this thread soon...

So I got my T3 just before a trip to Hawaii. Here's one of the Kilauea Lighthouse on Kauai. I've added some lenses to my arsenal, so we'll see what's next. I'm going to try to participate in the "Crop Challenges" on this board, just to give me some focus to learn. (This week's is "transport" if anyone's interested.)

My favorite so far with my T3. I've only had it a few months though. I love it.

Bought my T3 about a year ago and I love it. Light weight and it takes so many photos on one charge. Here are a couple photos I've taken with it.

The Sigma looks sharp. I agree, this battery is incredible.

The Sigma is really sharp and for the price point ($399), I didn't really see where I could go wrong. AF is a little noisy but that is only when it doesn't focus on the first try.

And regarding the battery, I pick up and shoot with my camera daily (or every couple days), and I charge the battery around once maybe twice every few weeks. Very convenient.

I am looking for another T3 as backup. I am telling you, they blew up some photos I took a while back, and this camera is clean. Target has a T2i and a T3 on display without the lens, and I want to buy the floor model from the store. I am offering them a lowball price to see if they bite.
