This is a decent competitor to the Sony NEX and m4/3 compacts:

Samsung NX100 + 20-50 compact zoom + basic hotshoe flash = $439, add code S8989898 to knock it down to $400 even. Slow 7-10 day shipping is free.

I'd probably try to sell the flash since it doesn't swivel or bounce and put that towards a 30mm f2.
