I'd like to set up a "photo booth" for my daughter's post graduation reception. . .the idea being two fold: people can make goofy prints of themselves and my daughter can have a record of everyone that attended. I'm looking at SeeMonkey and BreezeSystems PSRemote. Does anyone have experience with these? They are a little pricey, but I could see a lot of future fun if it worked well.

I can't give you any pointers, but if you look at the bottom of the page in the Similar Threads section you will see the results of a forum "mini search" triggered by your thread title that may be of some help.

I'm planning on using DSLR Remote Pro from Breeze Systems - same thing, but for DSLR's instead of using a PowerShot. Demo is free and fully working for 15 days, so you can give it a try before shelling out the cash, but to me it seems the most flexible for the price. There are others, like photoboof, but that sells for significantly more.

If you're looking for straightforward and affordable software for the photo booth but using your DSLR camera to get a much higher quality print which are critical for weddings, take a look at dslrbooth.com software (external link). They have a free trial to test out the software. I personally use it and it works great.
